About Me
After teaching German and Spanish for 37 years at Northern Kentucky University, I have retired and can dedicate more of my time to writing. I started composing poetry in 2008 after having thoroughly enjoyed a writing prompt in a devotional book. My first poem was published in 2009. I have been so fortunate on my journey to have met many very supportive writers and to have read some incredible writing. I am happy to share some of my work with you.
I am currently involved in two writing projects. One is an assortment of poems that relate to my fascination for family research. The other is a chapbook of recent poems about life's trajectory .
It is my pleasure to announce that a manuscript of poetry I collaborated on with colleagues has been accepted for publication. The 40 poems it contains were inspired by paintings by Andrea Kowch, a contemporary American artist.
